WELCOME TO THE BRANDYWINE RUG HOOKING GUILD
Chapter #83 of the Association of Traditional Hooking Artists
Chapter #83 of the Association of Traditional Hooking Artists
The Brandywine Rug Hooking Guild is a chapter of the Association of Traditional Hooking Artists. It is a non-profit organization whose primary goals are to maintain an environment that will promote camaraderie, creativity, and knowledge. TBRHG also desires to become part of the community at large by means of exhibition, education and charity. We meet twice monthly in the beautiful Brandywine valley located in the southeastern part of Pennsylvania.
The guild hosts classes, workshops and other events for its members. We also host an annual hook-in each October. This is our main event of the year to gather together to hook, shop vendors, see many gorgeous rugs and visit with friends. Occasionally we have a mat swap or challenge event. Its a lot of fun! All are welcome.
Currently we are offering OPEN HOOKING to the public several times a year. This introductory opportunity is organized by the Henrietta Hankin Branch Library in Chester Springs, PA. http://www.chescolibraries.org/
Please enjoy the slideshow below of our member's work. You will see a huge range of style, subject matter and skill. We are a diverse group and through this diversity we thrive creatively.
